Implementation of COVID-19 Prevention Policy by the Police of the Republic of Indonesia
Abstract
The emergence of the Coronavirus or Covid-19 initially started in China, so that later it became an epidemic and began to attack the global community. Therefore, during this pandemic, it is necessary to cooperate with all stakeholders regarding the management of Covid-19. In this case, the Indonesian National Police prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. This research will use a qualitative approach with secondary data sources derived from various research results and previous studies. This study found that the Indonesian National Police implemented a policy to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 by carrying out three types of efforts: pre-emptive, preventive, and repressive. In carrying out these various efforts, the Indonesian National Police found multiple obstacles to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus in the community.
